Welcome to the Friends of Itter Park

We are a small community group in Walton, Peterborough.

Our aim is to provide opportunities for members of the community to improve and promote the use of, awareness of and care of the facilities within Itter Park in order to make the park a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment for all.

Our Objectives are:

•     To work in partnership with Peterborough City Council and other interested parties, to help manage and generally look after ltter Park in a manner that will enhance its value to the community.

•     To make changes that will benefit the residents visiting the park and benefit the flora and fauna living in it.

•     To make special efforts to encourage children from the local primary schools and other youth groups to take an interest in the park; to help them understand its value in the environment and to the community and to show them ways in which management can enhance this, in the belief that they may continue the work of ‘The Friends of ltter Park’, (hereafter known as ‘The Friends’), in the future.

•     To formulate an action plan (to include a variety of relevant projects).

•     To raise awareness and profile of the park.
