Where is Itter Park

Itter Park is located on Itter Crescent, Walton, Peterborough. PE4 6SW

Who Owns/Maintains Itter Park 

Itter Park is owned by Peterborough City Council.  The responsibility for day to day maintenance is with Aragon direct services.   The Friends of Itter Park take on the maintenance of the pond area and the sensory garden.   

How do I get to Itter Park via public transport.  

The nearest bus stop to Itter Park that runs 7 days a week is the City 2.  Alight on Paston Ridings then it’s a short walk to the park.  The number 62 bus from Peterborough to Maxey stops right next to the park but only runs 5 days a week.  

 

Do I have to book/pay for tennis

The Tennis in Itter Park and free.  There is no booking for the courts and they are on a first come first served basis.   This is currently under review by Peterborough City Council.  

Are there toilets in Itter park

There are Toilets in Itter Park but they are are usually closed.  The Friends of Itter Park work with the Council to open them for events, including our own.   If you are planning an event in Itter park  please contact us and we will advise of the best person to contact in Peterborough City Council.

Q: When do these take place?

A: The last Sunday of each month between April and September, weather permitting.

Q: What time does it start and finish?

A: No earlier than a 9am start for both buyers and sellers. Close at 1pm.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: For sellers – £7 per car and £10 per van. There is an additional charge of £2 if you also have a trailer. For buyers – free entry and parking, although we are always grateful for any donations.
